#FSYLondon

For those of you who are not aware what FSY is...it is is formally known as EFY, if that still does not ring a bell, well why don't you just keep on reading down, I promise it'll be great. So, FSY is a youth convention that is a 6 days long, this is run by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Now I have been to a convention like this before, two years ago exactly, however, there is no doubt that the spirit felt those years ago, is nothing compared to how it touched me this year.
My Counsellor
First I had the privilege of having such an amazing counsellor. E was absolutely wonderful and I feel so lucky that I was able to be part of her group, the effort and preparation she put into everything was unbelievable and I feel like she was exactly the person I needed to spend the week with. After meeting E and all the other gorgeous girls in my group we moved on to meeting our 'company' this is where the boys join us to make a big group.

Throughout the week we took part in a load of activities including things such as: Service Projects, Gospel Classes, Missionary Prep, Banner and Cheer etc... But I can say that every single activity was worth it.
My Fave

This week has been so spiritually uplifting and I am glad that I had the opportunity to be a part of it all. It really upsets me that not everyone has the opportunity to take part in activities like this and are not able to have experiences like I did which allowed me to see my testimony grow and strengthen.

At the end of the week we had the opportunity to go to a Formal Dance in which the boys in our Company had to ask to escort us to. I was asked by such a lovely lad from my Company called J, he asked me in such a cute way. Earlier that week he had given me a cookie and I had said jokingly 'Aw thanks, you're my favourite now' so the cheeky one he is, asked me by asking if he was my favourite, if I would go to the dance with him and of course I said yes! He even walked me to the conference centre with an umbrella to shelter me from

the rain. It was such a fun night and me and J even entered the Waltz competition to show off our moves.

I just want to share my testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I love this gospel so much and everyday I am grateful to have it in my life so that I can become a better person and so I am shaped in a way that is pleasing to my saviour. I have a testimony of Christ and what he suffered for us all. I know that everything he went through was so that we may be able to return back to live with him and our Father. I believe and I know that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Christ and that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God who did translate it correctly in a way that it is pleasing to the Lord. This gospel has made me a good person and it has given me many more opportunities of service and love that I would otherwise receive.
I am so incredibly grateful to know of this.
In name of Jesus Christ
Amen.

My Wonderful Company
